While Immersive Cocktail Experiences are commonplace in cities like London, they’re (currently) pretty much unheard of in Hong Kong. So what is one, and why should you attend?

Put simply, Immersive Cocktail Experiences are a way to integrate your entertainment with drinks rather than separate the two. You might look at the cost and initially be put off, but when you consider what you get, it’s a no-brainer.

Let’s say you’re flying somewhere. You do a simple cost analysis, and end up on a budget airline. But then you realise you need to check in some luggage, you decide while onboard that you’d like a drink, and suddenly, you're aware that you should have just gone for a better airline that includes these things as well as giving you a more comfortable seat and all the other benefits.

An Immersive Cocktail Experience is that better airline. If you go to a performance and they give you an intermission or opportunity to get a wine, beer or G&T while there, this will add up, and the drinks themselves (unlike the prices) will probably be quite standard.

Fun Times Unlimited serves carefully selected and crafted cocktails that fit with the atmosphere, complement each other and progress from refreshing to bold flavours. In other words, as well as going to a play, you get a cocktail tasting menu that’s been curated and professionally consulted on.

On top of this, because the drinks are served by actors who acknowledge their existence, you can seamlessly experience the duality. And, you’re not worried about finishing your drink before the intermission is over, because you’re allowed and encouraged to sit back, relax and sip while the stories progress.

Then there’s the interactive element, which is massively enhanced by lowered inhibitions.

Watching a play or movie at the cinema can feel a bit disjointed. You know what’s going on in the story, and if it’s written and acted well, feel the emotions and laugh at the right places.  But there’s a noticeable line between real and imagined.

We don’t think you’ll forget what year it is or where you geographically are, but at our performances, you can escape more easily and submerge yourself into the world that’s created.

And while you’re in that world, we want you to get a few mementos.

You obviously get fined for recording a movie at the cinema, and you get kicked out for doing the same at a play.

What we do, though, is create moments you can take with you. So if one of our characters is interacting with you or your friend, please do capture it.

Each performance deliberately features photo opportunities and inclusive souvenirs, so that you go home with items and pictures we hope you cherish for years to come. And we’re delighted if you choose to upload these to your social feeds because it shows us you had a great time and want to share it with others.

There’s a reason that we’ve thus far had more than one repeat customer for the same show, and it’s not amnesia.
